"The Promised World"
Author: Lisa Tucker Genre: Fiction Publisher: Simon and Schuster, 2009 Pages: 336 My Rating: Do Not Recommend.
I just could not get into the storyline and plot of The Promised World.
Synopsis (book jacket): A provocative novel about a woman whose seemingly perfect life unravels when her twin brother commits suicide after he is accused of child abuse.
Review: I don't think much about this was "provocative". It was tedious to read - both in subject matter and writing style. In the back of my mind I felt like I was wasting my time as I was reading. By the time I finished it, I knew that I had [wasted my time].
